Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
  • Prepare and cook food, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients as needed.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food and throughout the day, testing foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment, and set-up and break down work station.
  • Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
