Production Assembler

Position Overview
The Production Assembler role involves the inspection, weighing, packaging, and sorting of defective medical devices as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Exhibit exceptional dexterity to manually assemble small components using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment while identifying product defects as needed.
  • Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure quality using various magnification tools.
  • Complete necessary production records and work order documentation.
  • Weigh, count, package, and label the finished products.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and follow written procedures.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Willingness to accept constructive feedback.
  • Capability to work independently on assigned lines or processes at the required production rate.
  • Adaptability to change and flexibility in varying work environments; eagerness to learn new concepts and processes.
  • Assemble components from subassemblies (both Hand Assembly Off-Line & On-Line).
  • Proven ability to identify and communicate non-conformities and quality issues.
  • Effective listening and communication skills.
  • Support overtime activities as necessary.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols as per job requirements, including the use of designated personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow attendance policies and be present at the designated workstation punctually.
  • Ability to take direction from supervisors, coordinators, or line leaders and complete assigned tasks with a positive attitude.
  • Contribute effectively as a team member.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Travel Requirements

  • This position does not require travel.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Work is conducted in a clean room setting.
  • While performing job duties, employees may need to sit or stand for extended periods, depending on the machinery being operated.
  • Must be capable of occasionally lifting and moving objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
