The Production Assembler I role involves the meticulous inspection, weighing, packaging, and sorting of defective medical devices as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a tidy work environment.
- Exhibit exceptional dexterity to manually assemble small components utilizing hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment while identifying product defects as required.
- Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure quality standards using various magnification tools.
- Complete necessary production records and work order documentation.
- Weigh, count, package, and label the finished products.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Ability to understand and adhere to written procedures.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Open to receiving constructive feedback.
- Capable of working independently on assigned lines or processes at the required production rate.
- Adaptable to changes and flexible in varying work environments, with a willingness to learn new concepts and processes.
- Assemble components from subassemblies (both Hand Assembly Off-Line & On-Line).
- Proven ability to identify and communicate non-conformities and quality issues.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Support overtime activities as necessary.
- Adhere to all safety policies related to job tasks, including the use of designated personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow attendance policies and be present at the designated workstation on time.
- Ability to take direction from supervisors, coordinators, or line leaders and complete assigned tasks with a positive attitude.
- Contribute effectively as a team member.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- This position does not require travel.
- Work is conducted in a clean room setting.
- Employees may be required to sit or stand for extended periods depending on the machinery operated.
- Must be capable of occasionally lifting and moving objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
