Job Description

UPS Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Procurement Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sourcing, quoting, and purchasing processes, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase requisitions and track status of orders.
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and price lists.
  • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Perform administrative duties as required by the Procurement Coordinator.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn company software.
  • Basic knowledge of materials used in the petrochemical industry.
  • Highly organized with close attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in an office setting.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
