As a NOC Engineer - Electrical Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the correct installation of electrical systems during construction and startup of projects. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed design and material purchase documents, developing plot plans, P&IDs, loop drawings, details, layouts, specifications, discipline engineering packages, and quality control.

You will also assist with instrumentation procurement, coordinate and assist other team members with project responsibilities, and provide engineering assistance with client standards, engineering specifications, variance requests, and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support during construction and startup of projects
  • Create detailed design and material purchase documents
  • Develop plot plans, P&IDs, loop drawings, details, layouts, specifications, discipline engineering packages, and quality control
  • Assist with instrumentation procurement
  • Coordinate and assist other team members with project responsibilities
  • Provide engineering assistance with client standards, engineering specifications, variance requests, and approvals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Professional registration is a plus but not a requirement
  • 5+ years of related work experience and leadership in the design of electrical and instrument systems for industrial plants
  • Progressive experience with the development of detailed design and material purchase documents
  • Experience with an Engineering consulting or EPC firm is a plus
