Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive foot care services at designated clinics in rural areas, adhering to established protocols.
  • Operate a City of Lincoln pool car to transport between clinics, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Educate clients on proper foot care techniques to promote self-management and prevent complications.
  • Respond to client inquiries related to foot care and other health matters within your area of expertise.
  • Conduct health screenings, including blood pressure, blood glucose, and other measures as indicated, to identify potential health risks.
  • Make referrals to physicians and other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with Aging Partners staff to ensure accurate and complete client intakes and documentation of services.
  • Assist with health screenings at special events and health fairs on an occasional basis, promoting community outreach and education.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska.
  • A valid driver's license to operate a City of Lincoln pool car.
  • Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques, with experience in providing comprehensive foot care and health screenings.
