Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hardscape Construction Specialist to join our team. As a Hardscape Construction Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality hardscapes, including patios, outdoor kitchens, fire features, and retaining walls.

Responsibilities

  • Construct hardscapes in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
  • Validate materials delivered and inform the franchisee of shortages.
  • Establish and follow a schedule with the franchisee.
  • Maintain an orderly job site and ensure safety practices are utilized.
  • Maintain positive relations with customers.
  • Refer all problems to the franchisee for resolution.
  • Comply with the Subcontractor Agreement as signed.

Qualifications

  • Clean and neat appearance.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and material take-offs.
  • Ability to lay out footings or foundations and determine elevations and slope.
  • Thorough background in good installation techniques, determining soil type, proper compaction techniques, etc.
  • Access to all necessary tools and equipment.
  • Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) Concrete Paver Installer training and/or National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) Segmental Retaining Wall training is a plus.

Compensation

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour.
