We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team at The Bachrach Group LTD.

About the Role

This is a remote position open to candidates located in NY, NJ, CT, MD, VA, PA, MA, RI, or Washington, DC. Occasional travel to New York for meetings may be required.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience managing key operational and administrative functions while providing exceptional support to employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing general information and liaising with the payroll and benefits teams to address questions.
  • Respond to general FMLA inquiries and assist employees and managers in working with the benefits team and external vendors.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conducting new hire orientation.
  • Overseeing the administration of the onboarding process and serving as a point of contact for new hires and hiring managers, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Training new hires on People and Culture platforms, including Lattice and ADP eTime.

Our HR Generalist will be responsible for ensuring timely processing of workflows for People and Culture programs, accurately completing unemployment claims and verifications of employment, and maintaining the People and Culture intranet page.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR administration.
  • 3+ years of experience with ADP Workforce Now for data entry and record lookup.
  • 2+ years of experience with Greenhouse or other ATS platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with answering general FMLA inquiries is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, employment laws, and policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to change.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborative and consultative approach to work.
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
