We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Investment Director - Private Credit to join our team at J Harlan Group, LLC. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing middle market direct lending investment activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Origination and Underwriting: Manage all aspects of middle market direct lending investment activities, including sourcing and initial screening of direct and syndicated loan investments.
- Market Monitoring: Monitor market activity through interactions with investment banks, restructuring advisors, private equity sponsors, legal counsel, and other industry professionals.
- Investment Analysis: Provide investment and transaction structuring analysis, including financial modeling and asset valuation.
- Due Diligence: Manage investment due diligence and documentation process, including engagement of third-party advisors and legal counsel.
- Investment Committee: Prepare and present investment opportunities to the firm's Investment Committee.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and support investment assets and portfolio companies, including providing detailed performance updates.
- 15+ years of relevant private credit, investment management, or investment banking experience, with a strong track record of transaction execution.
- Knowledge of credit/direct lending and financial analysis skills, including ability to analyze financial models, cash flow models, securitization models, valuation analysis, and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong academic record and a bachelor's or higher degree.

What We Offer:- Competitive base salary, with expected range of $250,000 to $275,000.
