About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Economic Development Manager to join our team at Dairyland Power Cooperative. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that is committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive economic growth and development in our service area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and state economic development organizations, community leaders, and businesses.
  • Collaborate with our Community and Economic Development team to deliver on our strategic work plan and achieve our goals.
  • Identify and pursue economic development opportunities, including business attraction and retention initiatives.
  • Assist in administering and promoting our economic development revolving loan fund and other programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, public relations, political science, marketing, community/economic development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in economic development, business development, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
