Accelerated Development Program for IT Professionals

Our Accelerated Development Program for IT Professionals is designed to provide recent college graduates with challenging assignments, leadership training, and valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders.
Through rotations and experiences in multiple geographic and business locations, you'll build diverse skill sets and a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling career with Trane Technologies. Our program is strategically designed to ensure your continuous learning and personal development.
You'll develop a solid IT foundation with skills in business partnership, project management, systems analysis and design, and data management and analysis. Foundational training in key areas such as cybersecurity and emerging technologies will complement the rotational experiences.
Examples of assignments include business analyst, technical analyst, project manager, and more. Assignments are strategically chosen to ensure continuous learning and personal development.
The Accelerated Development Program for IT Professionals consists of two rotations: a 12-month Enterprise IT assignment and a 12-month Strategic Business Unit (SBU) IT assignment. One of these rotations must include project management experience.
Relocation assistance is provided for rotations where the distance to the new work location is at least 50 miles.
A successful candidate for the Accelerated Development Program will exhibit the following:
- BS/BA degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science with an overall GPA at or above 3.0, completed prior to ADP start date.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, such as school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, or exceptional leadership of work projects.
- Minimum of one degree-related internship or six months of related work experience.
- Ability to view problems as opportunities and adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances.
- Eagerness to seek new information, skills, and experiences, capitalizing on learning opportunities.
- Ability to work effectively with others to coordinate efforts and produce results in a positive work environment.
- Motivation to leverage key learnings and experiences to grow your own career while contributing to the growth of Trane Technologies.
- Proficiency in capturing requirements, designing, testing, and implementing information systems while providing guidance for business process re-engineering and analyzing change impacts.
- Ability to proactively partner with internal customers to establish alignment and high-performance results in a manner that is open, collaborative, and impactful.
- Geographic flexibility both during and after completion of the program.
- U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
