Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled Claims Examiner - Liability Litigation to join our team. As a Claims Examiner, you will play a critical role in analyzing and processing complex claims to ensure timely and fair resolutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to achieve timely and fair resolutions.
- Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
- Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
- Report claims to excess carriers and respond to requests for directions in a professional and timely manner.
- 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
- Litigation experience required.
- Jurisdiction knowledge: any/all 50 states.
- Licensing: Adjuster license is required as a condition of employment.
