Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Plastic Executive Recruiters. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in creating and refining processes to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Development: Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
- Operational Improvement: Identify and recommend methods to improve worker efficiency, reduce waste of materials and utilities, and optimize production workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate production process improvements and evaluate potential changes.
Requirements
- Education: Degreed BSME or BSCHE preferred; no other degrees will be considered.
- Experience: 5 years of general industrial experience; experience in plastics industry is a plus.
- Skills: Hands-on experience with product launches, selecting new equipment, investigating alternative equipment, process improvement, and standardization.
- Personal Qualities: All-around great engineer with a combination of process and manufacturing expertise; hands-on, jack-of-all-trades engineer with a passion for building and improving processes.
