Job Title: Overnight Member Services Representative

About the Role:

The Overnight Member Services Representative plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our members and guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless member experience, and contributing to the overall success of our fitness center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cleaning assignments during the overnight shift to maintain a clean and organized facility.
  • Prepare the facility for the morning shift, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive member experience.
  • Greet all members and guests with a focus on member engagement and retention, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Assist with membership, retail, and tanning product sales, promoting our services and products to members and guests.
  • Promote membership privileges, including tanning, group fitness, small group training, and childcare, to enhance the member experience.
  • Deliver on new member enrollment expectations, ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
  • Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures, resolving any member check-in issues promptly.
  • Answer phones in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Communicate special events to members and guests, keeping them informed and engaged.
  • Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous disposition, embodying the Crunch Fitness values and culture.
  • Be an expert in all club facility, services, programs, and schedules/hours of operation, providing accurate information to members and guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Navigate all stations of the front desk area, including check-in, Relax & Recover, guest services, and membership sales, with ease and efficiency.
  • Perform opening and closing checklists and duties, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a service-oriented position, preferably in a fitness or customer-facing role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on member satisfaction and retention.
  • CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift or move up to 50lb.
    • Physical effort required for daily duties includes prolonged standing and walking.

Reporting Structure:

Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
