Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Swickard Auto Group. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring expenses are posted in the proper period and to the proper account.

Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable, including vendor payments and reconciliations
  • Act as a liaison between accounting and operational staff to ensure proper controls and vendor payments
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable schedules and maintain vendor files
  • Lead and assist with month-end and year-end processes, including accruals and 1099s
  • Reconcile monthly factory statements for multiple dealerships and payable accounts
  • Post EOM Corporate statements and process miscellaneous checks as needed
  • Work with vendors and respond to inquiries as needed
  • Document current processes and recommend standardized processes
Requirements:
  • Experience with high-volume accounts payable
  • Automotive and accounts payable experience required
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus
