Patient Experience Coordinator Job Description

Penn Medicine is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, conducting innovative research, and educating future healthcare professionals. As a Patient Experience Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping our patients' experiences and ensuring their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and Respond to Patient Feedback: You will receive and resolve patient feedback, service referrals, and patient requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: You will collect, trend, analyze, and disseminate data related to patient experience, including patient complaints and satisfaction.
  • Drive Improvement Initiatives: You will make recommendations for improvement based on data analysis and partner with clinical and non-clinical employees to drive improvement initiatives.
  • Advocate for Patients: You will provide advocacy services for consumers under the Patient's Bill of Rights and educate patients and employees on patient rights and responsibilities.
  • Provide Education and Support: You will provide education and support to patients and employees on advanced directives, patient's rights, and responsibilities, and healthcare system awareness.
Credentials:
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science in Health Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare, Organizational Development, Business, or Hospitality.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant direct patient care, healthcare, or consumer relations experience.
