Job Overview

Matthew Staffing Solutions is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a strategic and tactical HR leader, you will provide full-cycle HR support, execute people initiatives, and drive HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to managers on workforce strategies, leveraging your superior interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and deliver results with integrity.
  • Implement policies, processes, and HR technology that balance standardization and unique business needs, streamlining HR data and improving delivery and understanding of core HR processes.
  • Understand business strategy and obstacles to success, recognizing marketplace trends and their impact on the business, and translating these challenges into business and HR initiatives that align with the business strategy.
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision, escalating serious issues to senior management, and interpreting and allocating resources to support strategic goals.
  • Drive performance management, development, and reporting analytics to reduce turnover and manage a high-performing workforce.
  • Develop proactive programs, such as performance reviews, compensation, payroll, and HRIS systems, and assess risk to develop Human Resource plans and programs to mitigate liability and ensure operational success.
  • Create and drive effective development, employee relations, retention, and reward programs, and oversee the development of yearly objectives and action plans to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Employment laws and Human Resource policies, practices, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in human resources with increasing supervisory responsibilities.
  • Master's Degree in HR-related field preferred, PHR or other certifications a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration.
  • Proven ability to create a vision and develop an action plan to achieve the vision.
  • Strong communication skills, including developing the intended message, supporting the message with appropriate aids, and communicating the message through various platforms.
  • Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within a LEAN structure.
  • Knowledge of all areas of human resources, including talent management, talent acquisition, organization design, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated strong business and financial acumen, conceptual and process thinking abilities, and ability to understand complex relationships, interdependencies, and their impact on customers and employees.
  • Ability to simplify the complex and provide a structure where there is ambiguity, and quickly turn concepts into action and achieve results quickly in a fast-paced, demanding, highly matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.
  • Fully remote with the ability to travel as necessary.
