Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager with a strong technical foundation to take charge of key functionalities within our Human Resources and Benefits systems. Employee Navigator is at the forefront of transforming the administration and sale of benefits to small businesses and their employees through our innovative platform.
Our objective is to create a multi-faceted B2B platform that revolutionizes industry practices through the automation and standardization of digital enrollments. This role demands a visionary mindset, capable of balancing expansive ideas with practical execution, while consistently engaging with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert business and conceptual user requirements into actionable functional specifications for developers and QA teams.
- Facilitate strategic discussions to advance product development.
- Aggregate insights from various sources to prioritize software development initiatives that align with business strategy.
- Conduct thorough analyses to identify problems, resolve conflicts, and document solutions.
- Refine and implement the product vision and strategy for our leading benefits administration platform.
- Engage in research with partners and within the industry to inform detailed business solutions.
- Oversee the planning and timely delivery of application features.
- Identify potential risks and devise appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape through ongoing research.
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to assess user feedback.
- Establish and monitor success metrics.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or a related field, ideally with customer-facing web applications or SaaS solutions.
- Experience in the benefits industry is advantageous, but expertise in digitizing complex B2B supply chains is also valuable.
- 3-5 years of experience in health, life, or disability insurance is preferred.
- A strong passion for detailed feature design and problem-solving, with the ability to translate high-level requirements into comprehensive product specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills and a knack for creating innovative software solutions for intricate business challenges.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of engaging senior executives.
- Proficiency in SQL and the ability to leverage data for storytelling.
- Capability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Product Management Certification is a plus.
