**Overview**

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in our organization by assisting the Store Manager in guiding and holding the store team accountable to deliver the exceptional shopping experience that Lidl is renowned for across multiple countries. Our most effective Retail Operations Supervisors treat the store's performance as their own enterprise, ready to engage in the necessary physical efforts to achieve results. They demonstrate a proactive leadership approach, tackling both operational and personnel-related challenges directly. They are adept at shifting between various tasks and projects while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently. They possess a keen eye for potential, accurately assessing training requirements and prioritizing employee growth. **Key Responsibilities**

Collaborate closely with the Store Manager to inspire and motivate the team to reach their full potential daily

Ensure outstanding customer service throughout the store and serve as the primary contact for all customer inquiries

Monitor and enhance the continuous improvement of store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Lead vital team initiatives, including weekly promotional setups and routine re-merchandising efforts

Provide hands-on assistance for all operational tasks, including cash management, inventory handling, cleaning, and other essential store functions

Foster a safe, positive, and productive work environment for all store employees in accordance with company and legal policies and procedures

**Qualifications**

A strong determination to complete all tasks on schedule, achieve store objectives, and maximize productivity

Proven experience in leading and developing a team in a dynamic environment

Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to remain calm and de-escalate challenging situations

Willingness to engage in the physical operations of the store, including stocking, cleaning, and cash handling, on a daily basis

Must be at least 21 years of age

Capability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
