About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our gastro clinic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to assigned patients, including IV therapy, within the framework of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Direct and assist ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties and interact with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel.
  • Demonstrate professional responsibilities and be responsible for own practice, assisting other members of the healthcare team in providing the highest quality personalized patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: IV therapy credentials.

Work Environment
