About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our team at Great Dane LLC. As a Cycle Counter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our warehouse inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cycle counts of parts and materials to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Enter information into our computer database to track inventory levels and discrepancies
  • Recognize and resolve material discrepancies/issues and work with management to resolve
  • Ensure materials are properly stored and located in the warehouse
  • Operate material handling equipment, including overhead cranes and fall-protection systems
  • Assist in receiving and unloading materials from trucks
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of employees, including management and plant personnel
  • Observe and perform all safety and security procedures related to job duties
  • Perform duties of Nonconforming Materials Coordination (NMC) as required
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly
  • Participate in year-end inventory and reconcile internal and external dunnage inventory
Requirements
  • Ability to effectively complete counts, including utilizing equipment such as scales and RF Gen scanners
  • Ability to work with computers and computer software
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, including overhead cranes and fall-protection systems
  • Ability to read and/or write blueprints, bill-of-materials, and other written materials
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including lifting and standing
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and RF Gen computer systems and databases preferred
