Job Title: Equipment Operator/Inventory Management Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Operator/Inventory Management Warehouse Associate to join our team at Quick Holdings LLC.

Job Summary:

The Equipment Operator/Inventory Management Warehouse Associate will be responsible for assisting in the daily flow and duties within the Inventory Management department. This role will involve receiving verbal instructions from the manager, obtaining products from racking, pallets, bins, or shelves, and organizing stocks and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Receives verbal instructions from manager and ensures proper understanding of tasks and duties.
  2. Obtains product from racking, pallets, bins, or shelves and ensures accurate and efficient inventory management.
  3. Organizes stocks and maintains inventory levels, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  4. Re-packs and re-organizes product in storage areas and pick locations, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  5. Inspects pallets and products for defects and damage, and reports any issues to the manager.
  6. Ensures proper replenishment and Put Away/Dock to Stock policies are followed, and assists with unloading and receiving all incoming trucks.
  7. Ensures proper use and safety of forklift and other equipment operations, and adheres to all company policies and safety procedures.
  8. Examine incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensures accurate and efficient processing.
  9. Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately, and ensures accurate and up-to-date records.
  10. Contributes ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures, and assists with any additional tasks and duties assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Strong warehouse background and experience in inventory management.
  2. Ability to do basic math functions and use a calculator, and demonstrates a willingness to keep learning and improving.
  3. High level of energy and drive to work with the warehouse employees, and excellent people and communication skills to be able to work with differing personalities.
  4. Maintain neat, clean and orderly warehouse appearance, and ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed.
  5. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, and ensure proper and full-time use of any Personal Protective Equipment.
  6. Operate a forklift, pallet jack, order picker, reach truck and other warehouse equipment, and ensures that the work area is left clean and tidy at the end of each shift.
  7. Assists in maintaining the sanitation, security, and safety of the warehouse, and ensures that all company policies and procedures are followed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma required; one year of related experience in shipping and receiving.
  2. Organized thought process with high attention to detail, and ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
  4. Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player, and professional attitude and the ability to represent the company with integrity.
  5. Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions.
  6. Comfortable using a PC with computer software packages, including Microsoft Office, and communicating effectively via email and phone frequently required.
  7. RF gun experience.
Work Environment:
  1. This is a Wayne, NJ based position operating out of a Warehouse environment.
  • Warehouse Environmental Conditions are as follows:

Moderate noise level in the work environment. The work environment is indoors. Warehouse temperatures may vary depending on outside temperatures.

Physical Demands:

  • Sight: Must be able to see well enough to read product lot numbers and expiration dates, read reports, and use a computer.
  • Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate in person or via technology, and to hear warning signals of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • Standing: Must be able to stand for shift duration.
  • Walking: Must be able to walk without assistance to perform job duties.
  • Mobility: Must be able to be mobile to operate warehouse machinery.
  • Sitting: Must be able to sit for shift duration.
  • Stooping / Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel for short periods.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift 30 lbs. – 50 lbs.
  • Hand Mobility: Must be able to have mobility in hands to open and seal packaging, utilize keyboard functions, and utilize phone systems.

Contingencies:

  1. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon: 1) Satisfactory results of background check, reference checks, and drug screen. 2) Proficiency testing in Microsoft Office applications. 3) Completion of required training on Forklift.
