AI Specialist

Columbia College is seeking a highly skilled AI Specialist to join our Academic Affairs department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and conducting workshops, training sessions, and events on AI technologies for various college stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement AI training programs for faculty and staff
- Collaborate with the online instructional design team to ensure courses are designed to incorporate AI
- Work with the Technology Services department to ensure the institution has the resources to stay ahead of the ever-changing AI landscape
- Provide training and support for faculty on incorporating AI into teaching and learning
- Advocate for innovative AI solutions that can benefit the college
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
- University-level teaching and course design experience with both asynchronous and synchronous modalities
- Experience in developing and facilitating training on AI to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, cross-cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
