Position Overview

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Rekor, you will lead the design and execution of innovative machine learning methodologies to advance our computer vision applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve the accuracy of the core software product by designing, integrating, and assessing new deep learning methodologies
  • Refine and preprocess datasets for training purposes
  • Supervise data collection and annotation processes in collaboration with our team of specialists
  • Develop and implement algorithmic logic associated with Computer Vision Models
  • Assess model performance and accuracy
  • Utilize OpenCV and NVIDIA deep stream framework
  • Customize models through Neural Architecture Search to enhance application suitability
  • Code training algorithms using Python and the PyTorch Framework

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Preferably possess a Master's or higher-level degree in Machine Learning
  • Proficient in neural network architectures such as CNN, RNN/LSTM, SGD, and SSD
  • At least 3 years of experience with Python and C++
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks including PyTorch, Caffe, and TensorFlow

Desired Skills and Abilities

  • Practical experience with Nvidia CUDA programming
  • Published research in CVPR, ICCV, or BMVC

Physical Requirements

To effectively perform this role, you should be capable of meeting the physical demands, including effective communication and auditory abilities, as well as possessing precise vision capabilities. Additionally, tasks may involve lifting files, opening filing cabinets, or standing on a stool when necessary.
