Columbia College is seeking a highly skilled AI Specialist to join our team. As an AI Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and conducting workshops, training sessions, and events on AI technologies for various college stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and conduct workshops, training sessions, and events on AI technologies for various college stakeholders.
  • Train all faculty on incorporating AI into teaching, modeling best practices for AI use, and ensuring AI literacy among students.
  • Collaborate with the online instructional design team to ensure courses are designed to incorporate AI and provide accommodations for students.
  • Work with the Technology Services department to ensure the institution has the resources to stay ahead of the ever-changing AI world.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • University-level teaching and course design experience with both asynchronous and synchronous modalities.
  • Ability to successfully implement methods for integrating AI into course design, facilitation, and learning opportunities for students.
  • Experience in developing and facilitating training on AI to a wide variety of stakeholders.
