About the Role

Columbia College is seeking a highly skilled AI Specialist to join our Academic Affairs department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and conducting workshops, training sessions, and events on AI technologies for various college stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement AI training programs for faculty and staff
  • Collaborate with the online instructional design team to ensure courses are designed to incorporate AI
  • Work with the Technology Services department to ensure the institution has the resources to stay ahead of the ever-changing AI landscape
  • Design and deliver training sessions on AI best practices for faculty and staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to advocate for innovative AI solutions
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • University-level teaching and course design experience with both asynchronous and synchronous modalities
  • Experience in developing and facilitating training on AI to a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity
