Job OverviewPosition Summary

The Financial Record Specialist will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial documentation to monitor assets, liabilities, income and expenses, tax obligations, and other related financial activities. This role will primarily support the Goodhouse AI group of companies while also assisting other entities within The Premiere Group's ecosystem as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • The primary functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Execute accounts receivable tasks by reconciling deposits with sales and recording payments against invoices.
  • Handle accounts payable responsibilities ensuring timely vendor payments and that reimbursements have the necessary documentation and approvals.
  • Collaborate with on-site and other property managers to facilitate pre-close and close activities, address inquiries, provide assistance, and ensure the timely completion of accounting processes for accurate client and company reporting.
  • Assist with requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Prepare various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analyses, and perform additional duties as assigned or necessary.
  • Work alongside the accounting team to analyze financial data in preparation for entry into various financial statements and accounting reports, making appropriate journal entries for the general ledger.
  • Review budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • A college degree in accounting or equivalent experience is required.
  • Proven ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to prepare and explain financial data to clients, senior management, staff, and both internal and external auditors.
  • Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers, decimals, and fractions, as well as calculating percentages to complete financial records, budgets, and other fiscal reporting.
  • Employment history that showcases the application and use of an accounting and financial background.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is advantageous.
