Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling, staff development, and training.
  • Ensure compliance with attendance, punctuality, and dependability guidelines.
  • Handle patient and staff complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and ensuring a smooth visit experience.
  • Collect co-pays and balances due from patients in accordance with insurance guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby and front desk area.
  • Perform clerical activities related to appointment scheduling, patient intake, data verification, office communications, and filing of patient records.
  • Prepare the office for opening and closing, including rotating the schedule for break room duties.
  • Coordinate front office meetings and ensure compliance with OMG standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a physician office or clinical environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including EMR systems.
  • Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • EMR experience in Athenahealth practice management system preferred.

Compensation
