Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Logistics team as a Co-op. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects and contribute to the improvement of our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities
  • Process documentation updates and maintenance
  • Perform process and gage capability studies to identify areas for improvement
  • Support Engineers in trouble-shooting specific problem areas and communicate effectively through task assignment
  • Analysis and decision-making responsibility for specific problems or topics
  • Improvement proposals and execution of such proposals supported by analysis
Work Term Progression

The Co-op will progress through three work terms, with increasing responsibilities and challenges. In the first work term, the Co-op will focus on process documentation updates, process and gage capability studies, and OEE and line utilization studies. In the second work term, the Co-op will take on additional responsibilities, including PFMEA documentation updates, SPC overview responsibilities, and specific problem trouble-shooting. In the third work term and beyond, the Co-op will support product release process, change management projects, capital planning, and quality concern reaction.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Co-op must have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain operations and a passion for process improvement.
