Job Overview

Bosch Charleston is a leading manufacturer of innovative products, and we're seeking a highly motivated Logistics Engineer Co-op to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Logistics Material Flow (LOM) team, you'll play a critical role in optimizing logistics processes for high-speed manufacturing.

In this exciting role, you'll work closely with experienced engineers to analyze and improve internal and external value streams, identify bottlenecks, and implement efficiency-boosting solutions. You'll also contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives by supporting the implementation of RFID technology, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and other automation solutions.

As a Logistics Engineer Co-op, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment, working on real-world projects that make a tangible impact. You'll also benefit from direct mentorship and guidance from experienced Logistics Engineers, as well as exposure to cutting-edge technology and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and improve internal and external value streams
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize material flow
  • Contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives, including RFID technology and AMRs
  • Develop and maintain Plan for Every Part (PFEP) documentation
  • Create and implement standardized work procedures

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Packaging, or a related Engineering field
