Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative at the Exit Gate, your primary duties encompass the following:
Welcome customers and accurately complete the required rental documentation by utilizing a handheld device to scan and verify the rental agreement, check customer identification, scan the vehicle asset tag, and confirm the tags to ensure proper vehicle movement.
Offer optional sales items as instructed by management, employing approved sales techniques to communicate rates, terms, and conditions of rental agreements while securing customer signatures.
Uphold location and company security protocols to prevent theft of company assets; conduct visual monitoring of the lot; ensure a seamless process for vehicles exiting through the security gate.
Assist customers with directions and address any rental contract or vehicle-related concerns.Manually log and release vehicles from the lot during instances of computer system outages or unavailability.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The ability to foster relationships with customers is crucial. This role demands strong multitasking capabilities, along with the ability to upsell and effectively address customer objections. A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative is expected.
