We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Worker for our Community Crisis Stabilization Unit. This role involves providing specialized support to individuals in a 24-hour crisis stabilization environment.
About the Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) Unit: This unit is a vital component of the Aspire Health Alliance's Emergency Services team, offering a secure and structured environment for crisis stabilization and treatment. Our program serves as a medically necessary, less restrictive, and voluntary alternative to inpatient psychiatric care. Clients can access our newly renovated facility, which includes 8 on-site beds, during their crisis, with stays typically ranging from three to five days, tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating personalized treatment planning.
- Engaging in recreational, therapeutic, and coping activities.
- Promoting consumer health through appropriate nutrition and daily living activities.
- Ensuring a secure and safe environment for all clients.
Position Type: Per Diem Opportunity
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to support individuals requiring intensive assistance and supervision.
- Capacity to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment in crisis situations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Access to a personal vehicle for outreach and client engagement.
Experience Requirements:
- A BA/BS in Psychology or a related field is mandatory.
- Prior experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
- Experience in an acute mental health setting is preferred.
