Job Opportunity

As a Mental Health Worker in our Community Crisis Stabilization Unit in Quincy, you will provide specialized care to consumers in a 24-hour crisis stabilization setting. This is a great opportunity to join our professional team and make a difference in the lives of individuals in crisis.

Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) Unit
An integral part of the Aspire Health Alliance's Emergency Services team, the CCS Unit provides a staff-secure, safe, and structured crisis stabilization and treatment services in a community-based program. This program serves as a medically necessary, less restrictive, and voluntary alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.

Responsibilities
Facilitate individual treatment planning, participate in recreational, therapeutic, and coping activities, encourage consumer health through proper diet and activities of daily living, and maintain a secure, safe setting. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals needing intensive support and supervision, and remain calm and use good judgment in crisis situations.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree required. Required skills include good communication skills, valid driver's license, and a safe driving record. Access to a personal vehicle for outreach and client transportation is also necessary. Previous experience working with individuals with mental health issues and prior experience working in an acute mental health setting are preferred.
