Position: Process Technician
Shifts Available: 1st Shift (6AM-6PM) and 2nd Shift (6PM-6AM)
Pallidus, Inc. is an innovative and rapidly expanding manufacturer of large diameter Silicon Carbide wafers tailored for high power and high frequency semiconductor applications across various sectors including Transportation, Green Energy, Telecommunication, and Industrial markets. Our proprietary M-SiCTM technology significantly enhances SiC quality and cost efficiency, thereby improving wafer to device yield performance.
ROLE SUMMARY
As a Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in the setup of our manufacturing facility and the execution of essential production processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate various processing machinery, including ovens, furnaces, grinders, and polishers.
- Manage the loading and unloading of processing equipment.
- Utilize hand measurement tools, such as calipers and micrometers, for precise measurements.
- Handle chemicals, including acids and detergents, used in product cleaning.
- Employ computer systems for data entry, information tracking, and organizational communication.
- Collaborate with engineers, leads, and supervisors to report any faults or errors.
- Understand and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Read and interpret work instructions effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery as required.
- Complete necessary quality documentation, including batch sheets and MES system entries.
- Assist in training colleagues on standard tasks.
- Provide constructive feedback on quality and contribute to improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Ability to consistently meet shift schedule requirements.
- Actively contribute to the team environment, shaping the culture and success of Pallidus.
- Willingness to learn new machinery and processes as needed.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated individuals are encouraged to apply.
- Relevant experience may include machining, assembly line work, general manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Word, Outlook, and Excel are necessary.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident to comply with Export Control regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to stand, sit, reach, bend, and squat for extended periods during 12-hour shifts.
Compensation: Starting rate of $25/hour with an additional $2 shift differential for 2nd shift.
