About the Position:


As the Senior Peer Review Manager, you will serve as a primary contact for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) within each Administering Entity (AE) and the CPA on Staff Advisory Task Force (CSATF) of the AICPA Peer Review Board.

Support the Technical Director and Associate Director on compliance issues impacting the AICPA Peer Review Program and conduct oversight activities, including Report Acceptance Body (RAB) evaluations.

These responsibilities are vital components of the Association's operational strategy aimed at enhancing audit quality (EAQ). You will report directly to a Senior Manager within the Peer Review team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison for the CSATF and the CPAs on staff at approximately 24 AEs, significantly influencing their operational and technical effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Oversight Task Force (OTF) Evolution focus group to assist in drafting updates to evolution guidance and strategy.
  • Oversee, analyze, and recommend modifications to state peer review laws and regulations.
  • Conduct RAB evaluations of AE peer review committees.
Your Qualifications:

  • Possession of a CPA license.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in public accounting.
  • Proficient understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and Quality Control Standards.
  • Strong focus on member service and demonstrated skills in project management.
  • Preferred knowledge of Peer Review processes.
