INDEPENDENCE HEALTH SYSTEM INC is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients under the supervision of a physician. This role requires strong clinical judgment, assessment, and treatment skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Qualifications:**

* Minimum: Completion of a Respiratory Care program
* Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
* Licenses and Certifications: Active PA Respiratory Care license, Healthcare Provider CPR, and Act 33/73 Clearances
* Preferred: PEARS Certification
* Experience: Minimum: Clinical training within an educational program
* Preferred: One year experience in a hospital setting

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide respiratory care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education
* Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
* Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and technologies
