Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Leader to join our team at Houston Methodist. This role will be responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and education to our nursing staff, as well as leading interprofessional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines and standards of care
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and evidence-based care
  • Lead interprofessional teams to achieve organizational goals and improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with leadership to define priorities and develop strategies for service line/specialty department
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Five years clinical nursing experience with three years in a clinical specialty
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or Compact State
  • Basic Life Support (AHA) certification
  • ANCC Recognized Certification in applicable specialty area
