Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a temporary-hire basis. As an AP Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fully cycle AP processing, including matching, coding, batching, and sorting
- Prepare weekly check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments
- Reconcile accounts and identify errors
- Assist with phone coverage when receptionist is on lunch
Requirements:
- 3+ years of mid-volume AP invoicing experience
- QuickBooks proficiency (preferred)
- Basic/Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate ($25-$28/hour)
- Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm
