About the Role

Nanobiosym, a pioneering company at the intersection of physics, nanotechnology, and biomedicine, is seeking an exceptional LabVIEW Development Engineer to drive innovation in our cutting-edge technologies. Located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, we were awarded the first X-Prize given for healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop enhancements to LabVIEW HMI/GUI software to improve user experience and streamline interactions.
  • Create automation solutions for current calibration routines, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Enhance calibration routines for Android devices, paving the way for seamless integration.
  • Maintain and improve existing LabVIEW code bases, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in an engineering or computer science related field.
  • No less than 10 years of experience with LabVIEW development, including:
    • Proficiency in LabVIEW legacy and refactoring techniques.
    • Expertise in real-time control systems, ensuring precision and reliability.
    • Skill in building HMIs/GUIs that are intuitive and user-friendly.
    • Experience in developing bidirectional cross-platform communications for data and control.
    • Knowledge of remote communication protocols such as RS-232, GPIB, and USB.
    • Ability to implement data curve fitting functions efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong experience editing and maintaining existing code bases, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Ability to assemble, troubleshoot, and integrate basic electrical and mechanical hardware, as well as electrical instrumentation.
  • Experience implementing data-logging solutions for accurate record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with software integration roles working within ISO 13485 standards.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
