Your Role as an Automotive Retail Operations Supervisor
As an Automotive Retail Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the daily management of store operations, ensuring a productive and safe environment for our service teams. This position serves as an excellent entry point into a rewarding career with Monro. From day one, you will engage in a comprehensive management training program designed to equip you with the skills necessary for success in your new role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on operational decisions, including hiring, training, coaching, and employee management.
- Support automotive technicians in fostering a productive sales atmosphere by mentoring teammates on all service operations and customer interactions.
- Assist in employee scheduling, timecard management, and task assignments for Lube and Tire technicians.
- Step in as an automotive technician when necessary to ensure service continuity.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on tools, parts, and repair techniques.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is competitive and based on experience, with additional compensation and incentives available.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive services and sales.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and basic math abilities for calculations related to discounts and commissions.
- A customer-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive State Inspector License.
- ASE Automotive Certifications.
- Demonstrated sales experience in the automotive sector.
