Job Summary

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients, working closely with our veterinarians and medical team to provide top-notch care.

Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in providing quality care and advocating for pets and their families.
  • Assist with surgeries, procedures, and laboratory tests, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing guidance on pet health concerns, Thrive Membership options, and additional treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, utilizing our practice systems to ensure seamless care.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Be a team player, willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
