Electrical Construction Coordinator Job Description

Work4ce Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Coordinator to join our team. As an Electrical Construction Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing general contractors and subcontractors, scopes, budgets, and schedules related to the installation of automotive lithium-ion battery manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer equipment installation construction contracts
  • Conduct on-site inspections to monitor plan compliance
  • Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedules
  • Research, plan, and administer equipment installation projects
  • Present status reports to management
  • Receive, review, and coordinate contract changes into project delivery
  • Ensure a safe job site and monitor compliance with Toyota safety rules and procedures

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in industrial construction projects, with emphasis on heavy industrial equipment installation
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy industrial equipment installation means and methods
  • Proficient drawing review and field application abilities
  • OSHA 30 and 510 certifications
  • Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs to roof or equipment rooms throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant
  • Competent with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong organization and communication skills

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Plan and execute machine integration into mass production, leveling, adjustment, and quality conformation for assigned work area
  • Perform basic administrative skills, including documentation of work performed by written or electronic methods
  • Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity
  • Develop denwacho (detail schedule) for assigned work area/project
  • Participate in project planning with Engineering
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn new processes
  • Support machine production trials at vendors and internal to Toyota

What You Bring:

  • Facility or plant equipment installation experience in a manufacturing environment or equipment installation in a new facility or plant experience
  • Experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Technical experience with wiring and troubleshooting
  • Availability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 25 pounds in a one-time event
