Position Overview:
The Lead Security Analyst, dedicated to one of Pinkerton's esteemed enterprise clients, is responsible for conducting intricate investigations. This includes the interpretation and analysis of data from diverse sources to identify and evaluate potential threats to the safety and well-being of the client's personnel, assets, and overall operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough investigations and resolve both internal and external issues related to various threats against the client's personnel, assets, and operations.

Deliver high-quality, timely, and customized threat assessments for internal stakeholders while managing sensitive information with discretion.
Continuously monitor comprehensive information sources to proactively identify and evaluate the likelihood and severity of potential threats.
Utilize open-source social media research, public records, and third-party databases to generate leads.
Provide analytical assessments in clear, concise, and appropriately qualified reports that convey credibility, recommendations, and essential messages.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, customer support, and engineering, to improve processes, workflows, tools, and system capabilities.

Assist senior management with updates on strategic, tactical, and operational threats of concern, including briefings on key assessments.

Integrate findings and draw significant conclusions from selected analytical methods to prepare comprehensive assessment or investigative reports.
Conduct extensive research on complex topics, either independently or as part of a collaborative analytical effort.
Identify gaps in threat assessment and management and prepare detailed specifications for data collection.

Establish and maintain investigative files for all new cases, ensuring that records are current with video, witness, or victim statements and imagery.

Oversee the collection, storage, and review of open-source intelligence within the utilized security platforms.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or law enforcement, coupled with a minimum of five years of experience in threat assessment within a corporate investigative setting.

Preferred certifications include CPP, PSP, CTM.
Proficient understanding of intelligence collection and open-source intelligence methodologies.
Knowledgeable in corporate investigations.
Capable of managing high-pressure investigative situations while ensuring appropriate escalation through the investigatory chain of command.
Effective interaction with individuals at all levels and across diverse cultures.
Adept at analyzing complex scenarios and proposing viable solutions.
Skilled in writing and verbally communicating detailed and accurate reports to management-level stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to function as an effective team member and leader.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Competent in multitasking and prioritizing within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting competing priorities and deadlines.

Work Environment:

Occasional lifting of small objects and operation of office equipment.
Ability to adjust focus between close and distant vision.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and/or climbing stairs.

Travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary:
$140,000 per year.
