The role of the Senior Staff Vulnerability Management Specialist is vital within our security framework. This position is responsible for identifying, driving, and enhancing our vulnerability and security configuration maturity. The ideal candidate will possess cross-functional leadership skills to effectively manage various initiatives that impact the program and minimize risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously enhance the maturity of the vulnerability management program.
  • Align the program with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Address complex challenges and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches, regularly analyzing metrics to discover improvement opportunities.
  • Build consensus and drive strategic initiatives, influencing others to follow the established path.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience, particularly in vulnerability management for corporate and/or cloud environments.
  • Extensive proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience in vulnerability management, security assessments, and/or security engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management and security assessment tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7) and security benchmarks like CIS & STIGs.
  • Exceptional collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Adept at conveying technical issues to a diverse audience, including executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with container solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of ServiceNow platform methodologies is a plus.
  • Fundamental knowledge of systems and network engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in both written and oral communication.
