The role of the Senior Staff Vulnerability Management Specialist is pivotal within our security framework. This position is responsible for identifying, driving, and enhancing our vulnerability and security configuration maturity. The ideal candidate will possess cross-functional leadership capabilities to effectively manage various initiatives that impact the program and minimize risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the maturity of the vulnerability management program continuously.
  • Align the program with the overarching organizational goals.
  • Address complex challenges and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches, regularly reviewing metrics to discover improvement opportunities.
  • Foster consensus, guide our strategic objectives, and influence others towards shared goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including expertise in vulnerability management for corporate and cloud environments.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience in vulnerability management, security assessments, and security engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management and security assessment tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7) and security benchmarks (CIS & STIG).
  • Exceptional collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Adept at conveying technical issues to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with container solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of ServiceNow platform methodologies is advantageous.
  • Fundamental knowledge of systems and network engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
