JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Nursing Program Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and comprehensive management of a specialized clinical or support program, ensuring excellence in quality, cost efficiency, and service delivery. This role entails 24-hour accountability for the provision of patient care within the clinical program.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Leads the strategic planning initiatives for the program.
  • Oversees the operational management to guarantee high-quality, cost-effective service outcomes, while fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Manages personnel in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as the philosophy, goals, and policies of nursing services and the organization.
  • Handles the financial management of the program to maintain a favorable fiscal status while ensuring optimal service delivery.
  • Advocates for patients and families, upholding ethical practices.
  • Encourages positive interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Drives quality improvement initiatives and supports nursing research within the program and at the departmental level.
  • Exhibits a high degree of productivity and reliability.
  • Provides leadership and fosters teamwork within the program and nursing services.
  • Actively supports the professional growth of oneself and team members.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:

  • Current licensure or valid permit to practice professional nursing in Texas
  • Certification relevant to the specialty must be obtained within one year of employment

SALARY RANGE:

Compensation is based on experience.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
