Nurse Residency Program Clinical Specialist

The UTMB Health Nurse Residency Program provides novice clinicians with the resources and support needed to transition into independent practice. As a Nurse Clinician I, you will be precepted, guided, and mentored to develop your knowledge and skills. You will provide safe, basic nursing care in routine and predictable situations, with supervision of preceptors. This role requires a basic general knowledge base and a focus on developing your skills with guidance and direction.

Minimum Qualifications:
- GN/RN with current license or valid permit to practice professional nursing in Texas
- Completion of an accredited basic nursing education program
- Current BLS required
