Job Summary

DirectEmployers is seeking a visionary Chief Nursing Information Strategist for Clinical Excellence to lead our nursing informatics program and drive transformation in healthcare delivery. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will provide strategic vision and leadership to drive innovation and excellence in nursing practice.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic nursing informatics plans to support patient-driven care and advance evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with nurse leaders to plan and implement program expansion and growth, including new business ventures, construction, and projects.
  • Ensure quality improvement efforts are consistent with promoting informatics research, regulatory bodies, and guidelines.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with administrative teams, clinical leaders, information technology, and financial services to develop and implement high-quality clinical information systems.
  • Act as a change agent working with nursing and clinical leadership teams to identify, develop, plan, implement, and measure overall informatics strategies.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in clinical nursing practice and/or management.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state regulations and accrediting bodies that relate to electronic health records.
  • Clinical and administrative systems implementation and project management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the Epic electronic health record and a vision for its enhancement and optimization.
Estimated Salary

$93,000 - $133,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
