Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team at HearingLife. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to our patients, including hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, and education on best practices for hearing aid use.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services, including hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, and education on best practices.
- Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting, repairs, and cleaning.
- Grow your patient population and meet practice financial goals while maintaining ethical practice standards.
- Counsel patients on the purchase of hearing aids, devices, and accessories, and maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods.
- Support Telehealth initiatives to expand patient care and product portfolio, including conducting hearing tests and educating patients on hearing aid devices.
- Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements and ability to operate audiometric equipment and interpret results.
Requirements:
- Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements.
- 2+ years of Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.
