Medical Assistant Opportunity at Texas Oncology

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Texas Oncology in Plano, TX. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment
  • Promote efficient patient flow and patient care, including exams and procedures
  • Perform clinic support tasks, including miscellaneous clerical duties, answering phones, and maintaining physician schedules
  • Support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred
  • Minimum 0-3 years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant
  • Current BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred
